Loopon is collecting online reviews from numerous review sources. Each website has their own metrics for grading in a review. Each website has their own way for hotels and restaurants to respond to the reviews.
Normalizing the scores
Because of this Loopon will normalize the review score to be able to compare scores from different sources.
Normalizing a score will change the score value to fit on the scale used by Loopon.
Loopon is using a scale of 1 to 10.
Websites using a 1 to 5 scale will have their scores changed to fit the 1 to 10 scale.
Website using other scale values will have their score values changed in Loopon in the same manner.
This will result in Loopon displaying a score of 9 in average from a website that might show a 4.5 average on their website.
Response rates
Response rates of online revues will display the amount of online revues that your hotel or restaurant have responded to, no matter if that response comes from within Loopon or not. Some websites will not allow responses being initiated from third party systems such as Loopon and some might not allow for responses altogether.
Loopon will display the actual response rate of the online reviews. This is the true number that will let your business know how well you have been able to respond to online reviews no matter if the response comes through Loopon or directly through the review site and is a measure what potential guests see.
