Loopon provides a direct integration to Booking.com creating great value to properties.
Booking.com requires all properties, no matter if they are using Loopon or not, to fill out a KYP (Know Your Partner) form.
As part of the partnership between Booking.com and Loopon it is required that properties that want to use the Booking.com and Loopon integration to have filled out the KYP form with Booking.
In summary:
If your property wants to use the Loopon and Booking.com integration, make sure you have filled out the proper Booking.com paperwork and are thus listed on Booking.com already or the integration will not work.
Steps:
- As a property listed on Booking.com you will need to have filled out the Booking.com KYP-form.
- To use the Booking.com integration to Loopon - You will need to have done step (1).
- Loopon needs to inform properties that want to stay listed on Booking.com to have done step (1).
Loopon is required to encourage properties to fill out the KYP form:
Booking.com has shared this information directly with properties, and ask that Loopon encourage properties to fill out this form as soon as possible via the compliance centre in the extranet. If they do not complete the form, Booking.com may be required to action the following:
- Close their property on the Booking.com platform
- Close their EU-based properties on the Booking.com platform
- Block their properties from being visible in search results or bookable (at Booking.com) by travellers from within the European Economic Area (EEA)
As this is considered sensitive information, Booking.com can’t tell Loopon which accommodation partners have filled out their forms. However, they can check for themselves in the compliance centre.
