Prestay messages are a great way to offer additional services and upgrades to guests who have booked with you allowing for upgrades and additional services.
When setting up the prestay message service you provide a date range when the message should be sent before the guest check in date. One example is to set it from 30 days up and until 1 day prior the arrival.
- If the message is set to 30 days ahead of check-in and up until the day before check-in all guests who booked prior to the 30 days will receive the message 30 days before the check-in.
- If a guest books later than 30 days ahead of check-in, but within the date range of the prestay offer, they will receive the prestay offer.
- If a guest books later than the end of the date range of the prestay offer however, the booking is too close to check-in and no prestay offer will be sent.
